MEET DR. LESTER AND HIS STAFF
Dr. Lester and Staff
DAVID A. LESTER, DDS
Dr. Lester is a graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduation in 1986, Dr. Lester completed his General Practice Residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Having received a National Health Service Corps scholarship while in Dental School, Dr. Lester chose to fulfill his scholarship obligation in the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Lester moved from Yakima, Washington in 1993 and entered private practice in Eugene. He has 2 terrific sons, Max & Oliver. Dr. Lester loves to play ice hockey and manages as well as coaches a team for high functioning autistic individuals. Continued community service is important to him through his special needs care.
MARCY, Office Administrator
Marcy came on board when Dr. Lester opened his practice in Eugene in 1993. She has a wonderful and witty husband, a son and “daughter”, a daughter and “son” and 4 precious grandsugars and a few cats. When she’s not working you can find her playing the piano, hanging out with her family and friends, walking, organizing or church activities. She’s also a Duck fan and a Packer backer! She oversees the practice and desires staff and patients to enjoy their time in the office. She is willing to do whatever it takes to keep the office running smoothly.
CATHY, Administrative Assistant
Cathy has been employed with us since 2005. She is the first person patients meet when they walk through the door. They are greeted by her warm smile and her gift to converse with anyone. She has a giving spirit and can put a smile on anyone’s face. She has been in dentistry since 2001. She’s happily married and blessed with a son who is a Seabee in the Navy and a daughter that has blessed her with grandchildren. In her free time she enjoys scrapbooking, cake decorating and gardening. Her personality is a real plus for our practice! She is our resident pirate.
KAREN, Registered Dental Hygienist
Karen began working with Dr. Lester in 1995. She has been a dental hygienist since 1985 and was an assistant prior. She has been married to her high school sweetheart over 25 years and they have a son, daughter, 2 cats, 2 dogs and cows (that stay on the farm). Their son attends college and their daughter will be attending college in the fall. She brings contagious laughter to our practice and patients leave here happier after seeing her! Some of her interests include gardening, baking, exercise, reading, church, family, friends, movies and much more! She is an avid team player.
TERRI, Registered Dental Hygienist
Terri started working in our office in 2004. She has been a dental hygienist since 1994. Patients adore her and her wide range of interests makes it easy for her to talk to anyone. She is married with 2 children, a son & daughter. In her off time you can find her snow skiing, water skiing and enjoying the outdoors. She also raises horses and loves to ride off into the sunset. Our office would not be the same without her…her sense of humor delights us all!
ALISON, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Alison started working for Dr. Lester in 2008. She has two daughters and loves spending time with them. She has 10+ years of dental experience. She likes watching the Cleveland Indians during baseball season. She grew up on the coast and loves going to visit her family there. She is a vital part of our team!
